The weather two days ago was in the high 30s, yesterday it was a high of 92 and dry with high wends. Well. There was a huge fire to the south of us about 3 miles out, raging northward towards our home. It started in a dry jackpine forest so it spread like a fiend. Smoke was everywhere, a ton of my friends houses got burned down. We were really scared we were gonna lose ours as well. We had everything packed up, valuables, guns, insurance papers. And I'm still here this morning so I guess we're gonna be alright, but it was quite the time.

Just figured you'd all wanna know that we almost lost everything.

Oh yeah, the new Star Trek is killer! Go see it!
