When We MetI walked through the long halls, half looking, half finding, but never entirely succeeding in one endeavor or the other, wandering aimlessly through different doors and rooms. These places all had their variety of novelties, some more entertaining than others. After crossing the threshold of a room with odd and humorous illustrations on the walls I came to yet another door. It was of the same design as the rest and so did not seem out of place. I opened it and continued through.A relaxing tune was playing in this room and I was surprised to see others flowing to and fro among the great pillars. Some of these beings felt familiar, but none seemed to know who I was. I was able to overlook this strange feeling and make myself comfortable sitting and observing the gathering. A few members came over to make polite conversation but no one stayed very long. After a time I began to grow weary of this unorthodox party
PrismHold my heart in my hands for the whole world to kill,On my knees for the final passage:Still beating out love when you looked in my eyes. His name was your knife, you stabbed me.I just sit here and laugh out of fear for my soul,Will I fade or do you still love me?When this world is a tomb and I'm clawing for air,Would you lay down your light above me?Your light shines through a prism,It's an ever changing hue.If I had to choose between life and death,You know that I'd choose you.If I had to choose between life and death,You know that I'd choose you.I beg you to please stop your tormenting game,Unshackle my heart and free me.I can't roll the dice if there's nothing to win,Make up my mind or leave me.Watch you walk away till my eyes to turn to tears,They blur out the world around me.Through the rain I can make out your two silhouettes.Hold his hand and forget about me.Your light shines through a prism,It's an ever changing hue.If I had to choose between life and d
The Words to SayHe shoved his hands deeper into his coat pockets, it was cold. The winds of the world blew their malice on him and sent a shiver down his spine as he watched his breath rise from his lungs. "The sun will rise soon," he thought. "Even winter nights don't last forever." His heels clicked and echoed down the desolate alleys, both oppressive and liberating in the same instance. The dawn began creeping through the fog. "It's now or never." He thumbed through the contents of his pockets: a few pencils, an old candy wrapper. Something was missing. The sun stretched a few tantalizing rays through the dark, calling to him. He tried but couldn't find what he was looking for. He slumped to his knees and reached in his other pocket: an old receipt from a coffee shop a few days ago.
